Short Synopsis

When sisters Willow and Annika Lim inherit their mother’s casting agency, they must prove they can keep it profitable within a year or else they will lose everything to their uncle Stephen. While Willow fights to keep the agency alive, Annika grapples with her grief and embarks on a deeply personal search for her long-lost father, Tom Young, played by John Waters.

 Just as they begin to find their way, rival Tia Opal forges a scandalous letter and frames journalist Ryan Knoxwell, throwing the business into turmoil. With love, loyalty, and family secrets colliding, the sisters must decide whether to fight for their legacy or risk losing it all. A heartfelt story inspired by true events, where loss unexpectedly leads to love, friendship and deep connections.

Long  Synopsis: 

After the death of their mother, sisters Willow and Annika Lim inherit her casting agency, Laughing Lim’s, only to learn they must turn a profit within a year or lose it to their uncle Stephen. Determined to protect their mother’s legacy, the sisters begin rebuilding the business just as ambitious actress Tia Opal sabotages them by forging a scandalous letter and framing respected journalist Ryan Knoxwell, plunging the agency into turmoil. As Willow confronts Ryan and an uneasy attraction grows between them, Annika wrestles with grief, identity, and her place within the agency, straining the sisters’ bond when they need each other most. Forced to confront betrayal, buried family truths, and their own definitions of success, Willow and Annika discover that saving the agency and themselves means standing together.
